We proved that women with undiagnosed dysmenorrhea can be reached and engaged via online outreach.

Dysmenorrhea is common yet rarely diagnosed. This study surveyed 3,500+ women in Germany, Austria, and Poland, reached via Facebook and Google ads, to measure the diagnosis gap and test digital outreach for a real clinical trial.

  • Only ~5% of women with clear symptoms had ever been diagnosed
  • Online ads reached a highly specific, trial-eligible population at scale
  • Most eligible women were open to participating in a trial
